Death sucks. My friends father just accidentally killed himself with carbon monoxide poisoning at the bottom of a gold mine the other day. He was running a generator down there and it built up on him. His wife went down to pull him out and she died too. So did their two dogs. Now my friend is a complete basket case, and I can't say I blame her one bit. Her father was her only real family.

It's a hard old world, for sure.
Better to live all that you can, while you can.

 Maybe everyone should become terrorists!

A terrorist, having given his life gloriously in the cause by strapping dynamite to himself and blowing up an airport terminal, was approaching the pearly gates. As he entered heaven, he was set upon and beaten down by a crowd of men wearing cravats and white powdered wigs. "Wait a minute!" he screamed. "Where is my my forty virgins?" "You guys should pay closer attention to the wording" said one of the men. "It's not VIRGINS, it's VIRGINIANS."

Funny you should sing that. I've always thought that I'd like that song played at my funeral.

My mom's favorite song was Clair de lune, so I made sure it was played at her funeral last winter. I had a CD with it on (Ocean's Eleven soundtrack), so I played it for her when she was in the hospital with cancer. At her funeral, we had it play at the end when we rolled her out of the church and everyone followed behind. I hope she liked it.

Here it is if anyone is interested. http://youtube.com/watch?v=LlvUepMa31o

Thank you. :) Still makes me cry to listen to it.

Sorry all, I didn't mean this to be a depressing thread, I meant it as more of a respect for those that are no longer with us physically and those that we miss.
