Was he wearing a PROPERLY adjusted helmet? Because helmets extend past your face they can usually save you from MOST facial injuries. I know mine has.

who the hell would give their 3 yr old a skate board n let them loose at a skatepark..especially when there are bigger 3 yr olds around.
