Bub was learning and in time it made sense that the zombies would eventually learn a little bit being as their brain didn't die... just their body. I wouldn't say that made the zombies "smart", they were distracted by fireworks for the longest time. I liked the fact that the zombies kind of evolved, made things interesting. It's not like they were performing surgery on each other, one of them just (barely) learned how to fire a gun and I'm sure he couldn't have reloaded it. I would like to know if Romero was happy with Land because it was his vision, his rules, and his zombies.

IAs I see it, zombies are just regenerated human beings. They're bodies are restored to life, and their organs begin to function once again. If you shoot them in an organ, that organ should stop functioning and effect the zombie as a whole. If it's leg is cut off, the severed leg SHOULD NOT move. It couldn't. It is not attached and makes no sense for it to move since it's muscles and tendons are detached and out of service.

They insinuate through radio broadcasts in Night that these creatures started coming back because of an unknown radiation eminating from a satellite. Obviously it's something more than simple regeneration of the flesh and leaves the door open for many changes and theories. We're just lucky in the second film Romero didn't decide to have the space radiation cause mutations and cause the zombies to become bigger, stronger, and faster.

well Im starting think it was a good idea to have just one smart zombie but keep the rest really stupid kinda makes things more interesting but the setting was shit.

Yes. It's going to be called Rush Hour of the Dead and star Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan

Well, I actually didn't like any of Romero's living Dead movies. Isn't that strange?

filmmaker2 07-06-2006 04:12 PM

A few years ago I might have thought that a little strange. But in my travels, I have run into a few people who did not like Romero's films--you know, horror fans or science fiction fans, but not fans of these particular films. Of course, now there is a greater variety of zombie films to choose from. We have slow, we have medium slow, we have quick and we have fast. A zombie for every taste, every whim!

THE FAST ONES I WOULDNT WANT TO BE CONFRONTED WITH. THE SLOW ONES WOULD BE FUN TO MESS WITH A BASEBALL BAT OR JUST TARGET PRACTICE.

You think so, until their numbers get to be too much. You swing and swing and your bat does connect, it even tears dead flesh away from a countless number of the walking corpses. However, more just keep coming and they eventually surround and eviscerate you. Later they'll play your bat.

WHAT THEY NEED TO MAKE IS A STORYLINE OF JUST SOME ORDINARY PERSON WHO LIVES OUT AWAY FROM EVERYBODY SAY OUT IN THE COUNTRY NOT VERY POPULATED ALOT OF FARMERS AND AND VAST LAND AND PUT A ZOMBIE SCENARIO INTO THE MIX.i THINK JUST FOLLOWING ONE PERSON FROM WHEN HE WAKES UP AND UNTIL HE REALIZES WHAT GOING ON BUT DONT THROW SOME STUPID BULLSHIT CHARACHTERS THAT HE RUNS INTO LIKE DAWN OF THE DEAD IN LIKE SOME RANDOM PLACE.HE CAN RUN INTO PEOPLE BUT NOT FORM A PARTNERSHIP WITH THEM.jUST FOLLOW HIS EVERY MOVE. oRIGINAL AS THAT

Oooo or how about a zombie movie set in the future where humans have killed off most of the zombies and the ones that do remain are weak because they haven't eaten. The catch is, a lawn was passed to stop them from being killed after they no longer "posed a threat" so now they're simply treated as second class citizens, like bums, and stepped over and on... simply ignored. Until that is, one of them gets a taste of blood again which sparks the zombies to begin attacking again, slowly at first, and turning humans back into the undead!? No... it would suck... you putz.

Honestly, you don't think you'd run across other survivors and think you had a better chance with more help? "No thanks... I'll take my chances alone." Arm up, group up, stock up, and board up. Just don't let anybody slow you down, stay with the strong.
