I posted that just after I read what happened, I was a little ticked off about it and that's why I had written what I did. He should be given a fair trial and if found guilty, he should be put to death. My view of the death penalty varies from case to case, this is one of those cases I believe warrants it. I fully respect that you're against it and hope that you'll respect my opinion of it, but then again, why would you respect the opinion of a fucking moronic asshole.

You've made some valid points. I have to disagree with your use of Witchcraft and heresy, because executing people for those crimes is a sort of "thought police" situation.

I think more of what you're looking at is a mob of white men taking a black man out of his house and hanging him on the presumption of raping a white woman. In this situation, the black man never had a chance to go to trial, and if he did, it was a trial with a jury made soley of white males

I guess I'm really disturbed about this case because it did involve the rape and murder of a child. Truth be told, Elvis, I really don't know where I stand on the issue of the "Death Penalty." It's a hard issue to face, because for one, two wrongs have never made a right, and two, who are we to decide between life and death, even though the criminal made that decision. It's a very tough concept to face and decide.

However, I would love to hear how you think this criminal should be punished. I'm intrigued, because you may have a really good idea for punishment. I'm always up for other people's solutions to criminal behavior.

A big part of me is against the death penalty. People who commit crimes like these are sick, and studying them could help find ways to treat people. However, a lot of people would say that taking a person and probing them for the rest of their life is as bad if not worse than executing them; so I'm kind of running into hypocritism.

This is one of the most fucked up things I have heard about in a long time. I just can't imagine what that girl went through, or what her family and friends are still going through, and will go through for the rest of their lives. Nothing will make that any better for them.

It is damn hard to feel any compassion or mercy for the perpetrator of this crime. I don't think society can take the risk of trusting him with any sort of freedom in the future.
