Hmm...Not sure...I'd say that possible reasons could include: Bringing up the beheading videos again, could cause someone to consider reposting them...Or...Maybe it's simply an attempt to step away from the whole 'beheading' thing in general...It DID get pretty ridiculous here with Bane....You guys have NO idea...

And...Of course...It could be something else entirely...

I'd say that's also a possibility...There may have been more than what we see now...


But...I don't really have a right to speculate on the motivation behind it...Because I have been absent for a while...

Sorry for the controversy, folks. I was posting late last night, right after the announcement on the CBS news, and didn't expect the debate about the beheading's legitimacy.

Please forgive this liberal his moment of misplaced vindication. :o

Since you brought it up, the Pearl and other murders also show signs of manipulation.

This leads to the logical conclusion that none of these death films are authentic. Not one of them is a straightforward single take, and the argument that each video has a legitimate reason to be broken up at a significant point but is still genuine does not stand up.

In the case of the Berg footage, there is a leap forward of several hours in the video clock from 'attack' to 'decapitation', a deliberately awkward zoom/refocus allowing the disguised editing of the material (i.e. body swapping and/or special effects) and of course the medical logic that a living head could not be swiftly sawn off with such a small knife and produce so little blood.

Interestingly, some who shout that the victims should be 'left to rest in peace' and try to shame anyone for investigating the videos for themselves remain convinced the footage is all genuine - that it just has to be, that the blatantly obvious tampering is not relevant and can be explained away... as if the horror of imagining what might have happened to these people means there can be no question of complicating things any further, even faced with intriguing unanswered questions.

So far as the closing of the other thread goes, it seems very strange to do this because something offensive might be posted (I wouldn't condone a link to any of the videos on this site- do your homework if you want to see), and that the subject has brought out the worst in certain members in the past.

Meh...That may not be the reason it was closed...It was just the only guess I had.....Cuz..I don't know....


As for the authenticity of the beheading videos...I now have personal insight that PROVES there would be a shitload of blood, if they had been real...

During my recent C-Section they nicked an artery...Blood literally squirted like from a hose, 13 feet across the room...one nurse got hit...It was awesome!......The doctor said, "Whoa, that's a good one" and you should have seen Dustin's face....He said that was the coolest thing he's ever seen...Next to them pulling out the baby, of course :)...They stopped it in seconds, so we weren't worried about it...

Oh...I hope I didn't gross you out :p

Anyway....It really is amazing the force that was behind it...And now I also know that the horror movies just don't ever get it right when limbs are chopped off, or when people get decapitated...Nope...They don't even come CLOSE...
