actually i think that the hills have eyes 2 would be a remake of the one that came out in 1985.

Hmmm...perhaps next time I say something tongue-in-cheek, I could ring a giant fucking gong for those of us who don't get it.

Alice- This one looks promising, here's hoping.

Castlevania- Paul Anderson? Ok so instead of a great, moody movie based on an amazing game series we'll get Van Helsing.

Day of the Dead- I expect I'll feel the same way about this one as I did the Dawn remake. Which is a pretty good thing.

The Hills Have Eyes 2- Why? Remaking a good film was a good idea, a bad film... not so much.

Hitman- Vinnie could pull this one off. A lot of people think he's too big but 47 is a big guy, c'mon he lifts people up into an elevator shaft by their neck with fiberwire. He's gotta be a strong man, and he's fairly quiet too which also bodes well for Vin.

Resident Evil 3 and 4- I'm an RE fanboy, I'll see them.

When a Stranger Calls 2- Lol, what now, he's calling from the shed outside? He's in the car? He's on the plane? Give me a break.

is Craven still connected to Alice? I recall rumors that this would be his next film a long time ago, but nothing since then.

I don't think there could be any better director for Alice than del Toro. He can give that perfect dark fairy tale feeling without skimping on the blood where you need it. I'm pretty sure he's tied up with Hellboy II at the moment, though.
