You didn't. The music is from the video game Final Fantasy VII (which, with all the movies, remakes, branch off games and other shit, isn't, apparently all that final...but I digress), and the villain, Sephiroth just happens to be a beautiful male picture, and I just happen to have the tinsiest fetish. I was just taking the piss. Worry not.

It'll be nice to have an author around. Perhaps you can help me. You see, I'm trying to write a novel, not a piece of shit page by page hack, but an honest to Goddess novel with plot and plot twists, multi-dimensional characters, humor, horror, and everything else. The problem is that I am a professional procrastinator. Any hints?:)

I'm one of the resident Witches, by the way.:) Need occult information or a point in the right direction, just ask. I don't just do it, I live and breath it. It's my passion... other than writing.

Thanks, everyone....

...for the warm and amusing welcomes. Haunted, ironically, you are asking me for tips on the same issue with which I am struggling now...procrastination. I did read an article about procrastination in this month's issue of THE WRITER'S JOURNAL (I got a one year's subscription as partial payment for an article of mine they published...is mentioning that spam? ;). In a nutshell, the author recommend that you spend times when you can't get motivated to write looking for promotional opportunites for your current works and marketing them, networking with other authors such as via boards like this one, revising other already-completed works and submitting (or resubmitting them for publication), generating a list of ideas for future stories, or doing something healthy or constructive outside of writing, like exercise or chores. I myself try to participate in shorter writing exercises, such as poetry or writing product/movie reviews for Epinions.com, the latter of which is rewarding because you get immediate feedback on your work from other members in the form of ratings and comments. I hope this helps!

Haunted, I could use your assistance later on regarding witchcraft stuff because a novella I have written has a lot of that content in it. My main focus at present, however, and largely the cause of my procrastination, is a stump I've run upon in my research for the sequel to SACRIFICE. Specifically, I need to know what the typical police procedures are for protecting an orphaned minor who is the key witness in a high profile murder case (such as, do they put armed guards outside the orphange, hide the witness out at various federal agents' homes, or something else?). If any of you know anything about this, please contact me at [email protected].

You seem to be very nice but your cluttered website gave me a seizure with all the noise and flashing. Other than that, hello.

Hello Macey. As a fellow horror writer (though mostly unpublished) I welcome you and look forward to conversing. Perhaps you could post some shorts in the horror fiction section, as there are few of us that actually do.
