I asked my fiance out on Valentines day so I give her something for our anniversary heh. It's a commercial holiday and nothing more but I think for all my girlfriends I've always done something little like flowers and dinner. I like Valentine's day a lot more then I like flowers though. Long stem roses for $80????? They die in like four days! Bah, I could buy a rose tree for $20. Stupid florists. The actual gift I got her this year was Disney Treasures: The Complete Pluto. She loves Pluto and this one's getting harder to find at a decent price. At least she'll have an OoP Limited Edition tin.

Yeah, I bought my husband a PSP for Valentines day this year.

Chocolates and flowers are too old fashioned.

I'm in school, and all I've been seeing are girls with roses, stuffed animals, chocolates, and balloons. It's making me upset in a way. Err.

I don't celebrate holidays and neither does my boyfriend. Maybe that's why. Only Halloween.

I can tell that it's going to blow.

Run around laughing with a sharp pencil popping ballons! That's be great! Kick them and eat their chocolate too because it tastes good.

I hate hate hate Valentine's Day. It's nothing but commercialized bullshit. As if society and the media isn't already geared to make single people feel worthless and incomplete, there's a day specifically designed to hammer that fact into our heads. Thanks again, world.

@ some of you: Good call, shun the commercial machine

@ others: Poor, sad little automatons....

@ newb: You stand unjudged, you are the exception.
