That marvelous gory shot of the bitten-off leg sinking to the bottom.......it's like something out of a slasher movie...oh boy.

Well, needless to say, I own this one.

Jaws and Jaws 2 were good.

Poltergeist, and the sequel too are the best pg's out there. Poltergeist is really scary.

Wasn't the original "Tales From The Crypt" from the early 70s rated PG? That was pretty good...

Just like FM2 said, it was sorta violent, and with the corpses and whatnot, but the overall tone and language was kept down About the only gross part was the face ripping scene. And Amityville 3D was just about as tame. They probably would've firmly gotten the PG-13 rating had it been around back then. I could understand those two movies getting the R rating if the language, violence and gore effects would've been much higher.
