this is the easiest way considering I don't know what kind of photo editors you have. Paste your image in paint, click "image", then "stretch/skew", get it whatever size you want it then save as a copy unless you want to change the picture completely.Oh, and be sure to change it to jpeg if it isn't...I always have problems with bitmaps in here.

I dont have paint anymore, and I've tried GIMP and adobe, but in adobe it wouldnt even open my pix. grrr, this is startin to tick me off, thnx for the suggestion though.;)

if you have windows xp, this should work:
make sure your pic was saved to my pictures after you scanned it. go to my pistures. right click on the pic you want. go to 'open with >'. there should be a microsoft picture manager. open it w/ that, then there will be a thingy that says edit pictures w/ a little icon. click on it and there should be a 'resize pic' option. see if that works. 600x600 usually fits. :D
