"My Bloody valentine" is another decent slasher...:)

No wya, dude. Always unrated for me and what's the "other music"? More popular mosuc other than the horror movie sounds? I'd rather have the horror music, it makes the movie more intense, especially the kill scenes. :)

The only thing I don't care for in that movie is all the "camcorder" looking clips throughout the film. Is that for a filler due to the extra gore that was censored, or is that just bullshit rumor? If there is an uncensored version out there, I want it. :)

I'm not sure I think they have added some crapy disco music or something

LMFAO! :D DISCO?! JEEZ! What a way to ruin a perfectly good horror film. I'll stick to the unrated version. :D

I say it's a horror movie (though it DOES fit into other genres as well)

For me two clasics: Halloween & Deep red.....I'm not very original

slasher movies usually bore me, they're usually the same stuff with pursuings lasting too long.
anyway, my favorite is Carpenter's "Halloween".
and the "Scream" trilogy was a great take on the genre, pure rollercoaster fun

ps: i don't think "texas chainsaw massacre" is a slasher, it's pure horror
