definatly 70s/80s are the best i,m,o!
because of movies like: Halloween,Friday the 13th,Nightmare On Elm Street,Howling,Dawn Of The Dead,Evil Dead,Braindead,The Return Of The Living Dead...and more. |
There is no doubt in my mind that the 70/80's were the golden age for the horror genre. We had great movies scare us shitless and great horror writers and directors come along like Stephen King, James Herbert, Wes Craven and Sean Cunningham.
The 90's was an insult to horror movies just look at piss-takes like Scary Movie 1,2,3. But the new century is looking up I've seen a load of savage horror movies like 28 Days Later, Texas Chainsaw '03 and Dog Soldiers. I was reading a review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the paper the other day that said "HORROR MOVIES ARE BACK!" Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
definitely the 80's.

The CLASSICS still rock upto now.... but i watch the 80's too. hmmm... personally, i cant decide..
why do we have to pick anyway??? just watch it all!!! MWAHAHA |
