And just about anything with either Jack Nicholson, Tim Robbins, Kevin Spacey, or Bill Murray ;):D

Yep, see I love all three of the Lord of the Rings movies, Shawshank Redemption, Garden State, American Beauty and To Kill A Mockingbird.

Also: Animal House, Dazed and Confused, Dead Poets Society and While You Were Sleeping (no one give me any crap about the last two, okay? ;) )

I was waitin while my truck was gettin' worked on, so I actually read Entertainment Weekly, and they had a 4 page article on how theatres suck now. It was actually pretty good, they ran through the top 10 theatres in the country, not suprisingly more than half of those 10 won't allow anyone under the age of 4 years old inside.

Theatres are losin' tons of money now too, the article was saying that in a decade or so theatres could be almost nonexistent.

#1 movie in the country(40 year old virgin) only made 20 million, last week when 4 Brothers took the top spot it only took in about 32 million....Point is they aren't making anywhere close to what they used to make, the only movies really making money are ones like Batman,Harry Potter and other highly popular things like that.

Ridiculous prices, people talking, babies crying, stupid kids and sadly sometimes adults kicking your seat and putting their feet up ect. ect.

Now watcing a movie in a theatre is a better experience than at home(at least imo) but when you throw all the bullshit with it I'd rather make my own cheap popcorn, grab a beer and pop a dvd in.

Theatres do suck. I went to see The Skeleton Key and thought I was going to end up in jail for homicide before those couple of hours were up.:D

And besides, where I am at, we have a Baptist church that actually can keep movies from being shown here. And that pisses me off. Land of the Dead didn't even make it here locally.

But get this, oddly enough, American Psycho was allowed in....I actually went to see it. Explain that one! And it was great....people were getting up and running out. :p

OMG! ;) That's just craziness girl....you need to move up here! Liberalize yourself ;)

BTW, I have nothing against the south or anything, it's just amazing to me how different parts of the U.S operate. Each state is like it's own little country :)

My best friend lives in TN, and the stories I hear about stuff like this from him....they blow my mind...it just doesn't go on up here...I guess you get so used to your surroundings sometimes, you forget that not everyone lives the way you do...so it's pretty interesting to hear how things are in diff. parts of the country:)

LMAO. Please don't take what I said the wrong way, I was just messin' with her. I'm fully aware there are many parts of the country that are "liberal" other than the north ;)

And no, I haven't.:p
