Now, "Land of the Dead," different story, studio-produced Romero film, doesn't seem like his, not part of series, I ignore, does not really exist, was never made.

Ok, even though it was a huge letdown, even though it couldnt hold a candle to the rest of the series, even though it had a totally different feel than the other 3....you gotta admit it was a fun movie. If you forget who directed it, and what came before it, it's a fun, action packed horror movie. Definatly the best horror movie Ive seen in theatres, not that that says much I guess.

Night of the Living Dead, it just has to be

I did enjoy Dawn of the Dead

But the tension was better in Night of the Living Dead it built up slowly, but steady

Where as in Dawn of the Dead there was quiet moments that cooled the movie down too much for my taste

No love for Day?
I loved Day also.
I didn't include it because I knew "Night Of the living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" were by far the most popular of the three.I was just curious to see which one Horror.com members preferred the most.

I agree with You also.
I think I went into it with high hopes and judged this one unfairly.
I'll have to check it out again when it comes out on dvd.

Day has become my favorite of the 3 - still havent seen Land yet.

Night Of The Living Dead. I like the black and white, it gives it a creepier feel. Plus, even though it was low budget and Romeros first in the Trilogy, it shows that Romero has talent unseen in any other Director.

What struck me about Night of the Living Dead was the ending. Very few endings have bothered me as much and it bothers me every single time I watch it.
But Dawn of the Dead has some of my favorite gore and is kind of hilarious off and on.

I agree with you on the ending, after watching all that and then dude gets killed by people who aren't even zombies. Wicked, loved it. :D

It is so completely wrong though...LOL...to surivive all that and to go out that way. It was just cruel. But yes, very well-done. :) One of most effective horror movies ever made, in my opinion.
