I'm really sorry to hear about your dog cheebs! My neighbor just lost their pet cat 2day so they could relate. I too have lost a pet this year and about a couple of years ago. So I too know wat you're going through. May you get better over your loss and you shall be in my prayers 2nite.

Condolences...

Our dog had a heart attack at the beach last year. Its pretty hard to deal with the immediacy of loss. You have great memories, I'm sure, and that's the joy that you bring with you through life...sorry for your loss.

Wow...thanks, all you guys n gals...
Yeah, I don't think anyone feels right after an animal death, or any death for that matter, because along with the loss of life comes the loss of "normal". This one's hitting me kinda hard, because I was closer to him than I've ever been to another pet...even the word "pet" sounds wrong...
It's WAY shitty having to go through this, and I sympathise with anyone who ever has or will...but I have to stand by my statement that the friendship is worth so much more.
Anyways, thankyou all for your thoughts.

Results came in.
His heart was not in the BEST condition, but it wasn't completely fucked, nowhere near. He was healthy.
The local vet where he was said it looked like someone had poisoned him, allegedly, there has been many recent occurences of this. The kind of people that would do this are without doubt the worst kind of scum...if they're caught, I hope they're jailed for this act, murdering fucking scum.
I can only hope he wasn't in too much pain.
This just makes it all seem so much worse...sickening filth...WHY?

Urg, it's norse. Half brother of Thor, known as a trickster and yes, the "god of mischeif".
I only know this due to the events that take place in the comic "the avengers" since way back when.
I liked the character, and yeah, named the dog after him, WAY prior to the release of Dogma.
Another trivial movie fact is supposedly the mask in "the mask" was representative of Loki in design...says something to that effect during the film anyway.

Thanks again people...I just hope they find the fucks that did this. According to the local vetrinarian, there has been many frequent incidents of random animal baiting in the area, Loki was unfortunately one of their targets.
I KNEW he wasn't unhealthy enough to just die like that, although knowing how doesn't make it any easier. It's a gross, disgusting and inhuman act, and they should be killed for it.

I miss my dog...it sucks...
