There's one option missing on this poll, and that's the "You're fucking retarded" option.

But I settled with the "No Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" option.

28 Days Later does have some good stuff going on, but that's because Danny Boyle is awesome. Look at Trainspotting. Actually, Trainspotting is much scarier than 28 Days Later. Heroin addiction, dead babies...zombies look kinda tame in comparison. Not a horror movie, but really good. For really good slasher movies you should check out Dario Argento. Opera, Trauma (a little weaker but still cool) and Tenebre have some amazing kills and the guy knows how to use color and set pieces. Frighteningly erotic and gutwrenching occurs really well and often in Necromantik. It's a rare find and more cash than anybody should shell out for the VHS copy, but that will blow your mind. Saw is also really solid and well executed gore. When it comes to horror movies, if you stray away from Hollywood you'll find some kickass stuff.

Wow, a Danny Boyle fan and an Argento fan? Those are two of my favorite directors. Trainspotting and Tenebre are two of my favorite films. Good recommendations there.:D

I dig Tenebre a lot, but Opera I think is his best. It's a much cooler horror movie about horror movies than Scream is I think. I've been trying to see all of Argento's recent stuff, but Sleepless sucked and Il Cartaio is only available in Russia.

Whoa, there are way too many options to choose from in this poll...however, somehow "No Way" jumped out at me as the best choice ;):p

Well, I think Deep Red is probably Argento's best film overall. Favorite and best are two very different things, I admit it...lol. Tenebre hits some snags along the way, but also has some simply outstanding death scenes. Suspiria comes in right after Deep Red on my list of favorites, even though it isn't great storywise, the first few minutes are some of the best horror ever filmed in my opinion.
