"Do you have ID?" the old woman asked.
"No why?"
"Because you have to be over 18 to see this movie"
"Well cant you just let me in, i mean i drove all the way from Brookings to see this movie."
"No"
"Fine fuck you then......eat a fucking dick"

That sucks dude..... I remember the same thing happening to me years ago when my older brother took me to see T2. I was so into The Terminator then and I was totally amped on seeing the sequel but we got there and it was NO you're not getting in. We even went to 3 different theatres and tried every tick in the book to get in....... I had to settle for seeing it on video about a year later when it came out. Fuckers!

That sucks. People in general seem to be assholes like that. It's sad.

I hate people that think they are smarter/cooler than anyone else. I know, sometimes I am like that but I hate myself too. hahaha

A feel numb from stupid people... it doesn't bother me as much. I am used too being let down, I am used too the President killing us. Just numb from dumb

This is gonna sound strange.....or maybe not......

But I remember trying to get in to see DAWN OF THE DEAD way back when, and I was too young for the "Under 17 Not Admitted" thing--it wasn't even rated R, remember, it was worse than that; and I tried quite a few times, and it took a while before I finally got in to see it.

The same thing happened with the "Under 17 Not Admitted" ZOMBIE, except I never did find a place that would let me in, so I never saw it in a theatre. That thrill was destined to occur on home video...

The only time that ever happened to me was when I went to go see "Wild Things" with a few other hormone-raging teens... I think that "Man With the Iron Mask" movie was out then too, and the stupid ticket girl (who was like, 70) made us go see that instead.

But surely rules is rules?

If cinemas start letting kids they believe to be under 18 into 18+ rated films, shouldn't liquor stores start selling plonk to potentially underage drinkers too?

Where is the line drawn?

When I went to see White Noise I got put out of the theatre because the guard said someone said I was talking.....

It was my girlfriend and I and we both hate it when people talk during a movie so why the fuck would we talk to each other during a movie?

Anyway after whoever went to tell the guard we were talking he came in and passed up about 4 row filled with kids who were fucking talking not whispering but very clearly talking and I know if I heard them from my seat he damn sure heard them when he walked right by them.

So he walked by other people talking to kick me and my girlfriend out who weren't talking, I guess it was somebody fucking around and thought it would be funny to get somebody put out.

I know it was White Noise but still I wanted to see it and I payed to see it but got kicked out because of some bullshit. I really don't give a damn about what people think of me but still that shit is embarrassing....so that's a similar experience that pissed me off.
