'Deep Red' is actually in public domain and you might luck out and find it in the DVD bargain bin released by some company you've never heard of. Mine showed up that way in a '10 movies on 5 DVDs' horror collection.
CK

well im going to buy the rights to it

Deep Red is my favorite ...

i have Opera but havent watched it yet ..

I'm not that crazy about Suspiria

Ive only seen Suspiria, but it was damn good, IMO

I'd go with a movie that, while not necessarily being typical Argento, showcases how great of a director he can be. Thus, I'd say watch Trauma. It's evident in his other movies (especially Suspiria) that he's good, but Trauma shows it best.

Again everyone...thanks so much for your help...I'll probably pick up suspiria...tenebre...and deep red for now...then let you know what I think :)

Go with Deep Red, then Suspiria and Inferno. After them, go Phenomena(?), Tenebre and Opera. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to get the special editions though, as they look incredible.

Thanks for the advice.
I actually just placed an order for Suspiria, Deep Red, and Tenebre. I can't wait to get them! :)

Suspiria is great but maybe a not the best movie to start seeing Argento's movies. Deep red is excelent (it was my first Argento's movie). I adveise you to see that one first.
