Yeah they have that at my local EB. The Atri deal. I dont think I would ever buy it. I would just plug in my old atari I allready have.

according to tips and tricks magazine it cost some where between 20 and 30 dollors in the US not sure about astalia

No doubt...I still have my 2600 and 7800...shit, I still have my NES and SNES...and my Genisis...

I stilll have the Nintendo, Super nintendo game boy, gameboy sp, Game boy ds, Game Sube PS1, PS2 and N64

Its great that you still have your old consoles, however, I have to say tht for the atari at least, I would choose the "new model" option. No cartridges to worry about, and you get a new peice of hardware garaunteed to last longer.
I think it's a great idea, and other companies should consider following along the same lines...I'd love to be able to play 16-bit sega and nintendo games on a new console again...

why don't they just re-release the 2600? That way I can use all these Atari cartridges I found in my grandma's basement. I want Big Bird to teach me math, damnit!

This is great! I have my original Atari in storage at my grandmother's house, but now that the games are already preloaded, I can actually find some space for it in my apartment.
