(1) The Day The Earth Met The ROCKET FROM THE TOMBS
http://www.smogveil.com/wow/images/rocket.gif
^^ The greatest album never recorded.

(2) MELVINS - Houdini

(3) NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE - Zuma

(4) any good HANK WILLIAMS compilation

(5) GUNS N' ROSES - Appetite For Destruction

plus a bunch of punk and metal shit from various eras but yeh the list could go on and sould've included a lot more bands but those are the ones I'll never tire of.

4) Funhouse - The Stooges. Somewhere between The Velvet Underground and The Ramones, Iggy Pop became the icon of punk. 'Raw Power' might be the better known of their albums, but this is by far the most cohesive and rawest effort. Everything screams at you with such intensity that it is impossible to ignore (with the exception of 'We Will Fall').
We Will Fall is on the first album. Everyone seems to bag that song except me it's one of my favorites. Very intense drug fuelled song that takes you away to somewhere deranged.

5)Slipknot-Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat
4)Lambof god-Ashes of the wake
3)Slipknot-Iowa
2)Slipknot-Vol.3(The Subliminal verses)
1)Slipknot-Slipknot

anyone without Burt Bacharach on their list obviously has no sense of 'musical cool' and should be immediately disqualified from having an opinion.

therefore my list is the only good list.

Me? Hockey?

Street hockey maybe, but if i even look at skates, i fall down.

Without skates... i am a runaway train. Any sport that includes body-checking is a-ok in my book.

And i thought we long ago established that i am made of the "cool" equivelant of antimatter.

5. Pennywise: Land Of The Free?

In my opinion, this is the best list on here. Nice taste Mothman.

If you don't mind my asking though, how old are you? Only reason I bring it up is because (in my opinion) both Bad Religion and Pennywise have older stuff (Early-mid 90s) that's better than the albums you mentioned. (Not that the newer stuff isn't good. I just like the older stuff from both of those particular bands better.) In any event, you like good lyricists which points to intelligence. ;)

Here's my list...

1. Bad Religion - All Ages
2. NOFX - White trash, Two Heebs, and a Bean
3. The Toadies - Rubberneck
4. Self - Gizmodgery
5. The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club
6. Sublime - Sublime
7. Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
8. The Beatles - Abbey Road
9. Pennywise - Full Circle
10. The Doors - The Doors
11. Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle
12. System of a Down - Toxicity
13. Lagwagon - Hoss
14. Dr. Dre - The Chronic
15. Bob Marley - Legend
16. Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power
17. Nirvana - Nevermind
18. Weezer - Blue Album
19. Bad Religion - How Could Hell be any Worse?
20. The Toadies - Stars Above, Hell Below

Alright, I started writing my top 5, but I couldn't live with myself if I excluded some of these so you're getting my top 20. Hope you can all deal with the fact that I am blatantly cheating. :D
