no, i'm dead serious ! I'm hitting way harder, blocking great, and picking up stuff defensively i'd never have gotten to before..

thats a sign of being more cautious, as you've got older. You feel more comfortable and work better defending what you've got, rather than taking risks... same goes for the game, you're in a much stonger postion to defend now you've got the 'game' experience and strength, rather than heading out upfront where the game is faster.

actually you're right and wrong ...
experience - yes .. i dont have to think much about the strategy - its built in .. i usually know where to go and when... (if the rest of the positions are being played properly)

as for heading out upfront ... thats my job ..
I'm the centerman in front row .. meaning i always switch into that position so that i hit from center, but can block centre or either side ... its the most demanding position in the game ..i never stop moving ..
