if you do you'll never be able to get the 5 points back of your I.Q. that it knocks off.

If you are happy with your purchase, then thats all that matters. You are right about House of the Dead sucking though. That's one of the worst mid-budget horror films I've ever seen in my life.

I was not a big fan of The Grudge either. (It wasnt anywhere near as bad as HOTD though. The Grudge is pretty good quality, but it just didn't do it for me. The Japanese version, Ju-On, is better.

But if you do the math you'll realize that averages out to about 4-5 bucks a book/movie/DVD. And while DVD's and movies go for 10-20 dollars, and books go for around 10-15, I'd say it was a hell of a deal.

Forgot to mention one DVD I bought in a moment of penis-related weakness. And I'm not gonna say either.

Okay it was Showgirls.

*hangs head in shame*

Anyways, like I said, once you average it out, that's a nice deal, I don't know of anywhere you can get used books and movies for under 4 bucks, but if you do, feel free to tell me. ^^

About House of the Dead. It was good for what it tried to do, that is, be a cock-tease with a little bit of violence and zombies thrown in, but it wasn't, IMO, a good horror movie.

I'm up to NOES 3 now, I'd never saw the middle NOES so I'm gonna try to watch one a night until I get them watched. Guess I should try to find a used copy of Freddy's Dead and New Nightmare to complete the set, even though I've seen those.

I got the actual script that they used for the movie.
Pg. 1 - Kids go to island rave, mosters come, sex scene
Pg. 2 - Shoot zombies in music video fashion, sword fight. the end.

Well, my obvious answer is Yes. I very much like Stephen King.

However, I am perfectly willing to expand my horizons (as I am trying to do with the Straub books). However, not knowing that much about horror books, other than King, I don't really know where to start. I read Koontz once and really disliked his writing style, and other than that I've not read any other horror stuff other than King.

Recommendations, however, are welcome.
