If you find the Lestat character annoying, then you would love seeing his pride shattered in Memnoch The Devil.

already read it, i'd like to see another novel from Louis's POV again personally

I liked 'The vampire Lestat' the best because he gets to rock out in it! I like 'Belinda' too.

I enjoyed all of the chronicles, but i would say my favorite is "The Vampire Lestat" because it tells of Lestat's life and how he came to be. And the person who said Lestat was annoying. The whole chronicles is around him. He started it and hes been in almost every book. Without him, there would be no chronicles. Anne Rice said hes the hero, the dark lover, everything. Without him..there would be nothing. i have spoken my peace.

I loved her vampire series and hated her mayfair witch trilogy. The Mummy was good but my favorite book would have to be The Vampire Lestat followed closely by Memnoch. Memnoch was just really neat, but Lestat was the best story.
