We saw this when the kids were young. i bought it for amy last xmas. still love it. it's a guilty pleasure.:)

Meh, it's mediocre.

I never saw it,but it goes into the "poster gave me nightmares as a kid" pile. A flash of a tv trailer or a creative poster was all it took to get me terrified as a kid. Overactive imagination.

I almost bought the sequl awhile back, but I decied against it.

The Gate

I got the DVD (The Gate). To me, it's more of a kids/family horror movie. Nothing to scary, a kid as a hero, etc... The Stop animation is alright, but in my opinion, it's not a horror movie for the adult.

I brought this the other day and enjoyed it. It definatley is more of a kids film but there are still some pretty gory bits. It was weird seeing Stephen Doriff as a kid. This was well worth the $1.50 I paid for it on VHS.
