i buy cheap everything .. and a rarely have a problem .. and believe me - i run my computers hard.
The one thing i do is remove the sides off my PCs and use a 10" desk fan to blow directly on the inside ...
so for $10 a fan at wallmart i can effectively cool my systems.

i dont have to worry about the noise as the computers are in the basement office.

I've lost a couple of power supplies (usually the fan stops turning .. but i replace them for $20.

I'm also lucky in the sense that specifically Toronto Canada - is the cheapest place in the world to buy computer parts ...

Well, i'm gonna head home soon an start phonin people I know who may be able to fix it for me and not rip me off in the process. Just hope they'll take an i.o.u.

thats quite an idea!! but how about stuff flyin on the inside. or do u put something?

i put in a fkpppy drive and sound card a month or so ago... had a spider livin in my puter!!

nah, nothing on the inside stays because the fans blow too hard .. it works like a champ..the harddrives are cold to the touch too which is perfect .. they'll last a lot longer that way..

anyway ... having a spider inside is great .. they catch the bugs from your new program releases :)
