Well I ended up not going,

My boy (who is 3) has had breathing problems his whole life, probably a factor form being born c-section. My daughter had it also but she grew out of it as I am sure he will. So in his case a little cold turns into more serious problems.

My lady was supposed to be home from work but she could not so I decided that I would stay home and take care of him.

HOLY SHIT youd think that I shot the president of MTV. How can you take your weekend trip that you have planned and looked forward to for months and stay home and take care of your ill child?

Its called sacrifice you ASSHOLES (not you the reader) I have my priorities straight do you?

Even my lady is giving me shit about it, what the fuck is up with that? I cannot believe that people are actually acting this way. I guess I should be a real man and tell my son to tough it out, daddy has to go and slay bambis momma. And if you end up in the hospital tough shit.

There will be other deerhunts I am sure of that but I cant help my boy from 300 miles away now can I.

you did the right thing, nobody deserves to give you shit, its family first right. no wait horror then family or... well family is up there somewhere

i agree with you. if my daughter was in the same predicament, there would have been no other decision.

I don't know how old you are but you did the right thing, the mature thing. I don't have any but your kids should always come first. I'd tell your old lady to STFU if I were you, then I'd call your friends over and shoot them. That would be your hunting trip!!!!! :D ;)
