True, I don't understand it either. 28 Days Later was great, and so was The Blair Witch Project ... both of these I have defended time and again on this site. I think what they both have in common that turns off a lot of horror fans is the fact that neither one splash gore all over the screen on a consistent basis. This pretty much goes to show you why horror fans get a bad rap, for the most part.

Shrek 2

i knew it was gonna be bad.. but like yeh that was fuckin gay. the cat was cool, gingerbread man was cool, but other than that? CORNEHHHH

and to think my friend was like 'OMG i liked it better than the first one! although i did fall asleep half way through' .......................

exactamundo. I had to concede to some poeple about not liking the new Dawn of the Dead, they actually listed legitimate reasons they didnt like it, and didnt just say "it sucked". I dont agree with them (i liked it a lot).

One of the things that stuck to me with 28 days later was the use of digital film. the sequences in the rain are almost dreamlike because of the way the water falls. i think it adds quite a bit to the movie.

_Leatha_Face_...what the hell ?

You know the only reason you don't like 28 days later is because Danny Boyle is british.....

somebody not liking a horror film and a film maker because they were british, that sounds so familiar :D
