I don't think I've ever suggested someone go back to film school. Learn the basics then get out, make movies and learn for real. Not to knock school, but I learned more directing one short without the help of being a student (the school gives you more support than you may think) than I did in the safety zone of my college. Of course, every so often I go back to borrow the studio, so that alone made going to school worth it.

The film was okay ... There was one particularly creepy moment when the protagonist was curled up on the kitchen floor and the ghost appeared beside her. But other than that, it lacked any real scares. The motivation of the characters was a bit unbelievable. Your heroine locks herself in her apartment because she was raped the last time she went out. But, when her rapist appears in ghost form in her house, she still doesn't leave. I think that if I had a fear of leaving the house for some reason, and that reason manifested itself IN THE HOUSE, that would be enough to drive me out of doors.

The best part of the whole DVD was the flatulent extra. I laughed until I cried at that one. Maybe the film should have had a bit more humor?
