Poseidon

Even tho I love the original from 1972, I really liked this. I thought the effects were good, and the acting was decent. But then, I'm a big Kurt Russell fan.

Finished the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. It was the first time I had seen any of the installments in full. Here's how I'd rate them. 1, 7, 3, 4, 5, 2, and 6.

The subtle indications of the demon + the spider walk scene was noteworthy, but the theatrical version was better.

Well this was released at cinemas as well. I went and saw it... Maybe it was better that way.

Hostel 2 ~ more of the same, and that was what I was expecting, so I couldn't be disappointed this time. A couple of effective death scenes.

Pieces ~ I found this movie really, REALLY funny....:p WTF was up with the ending? Hilarious....and there were a few moments like that one. Glad we finally got to see it, been hunting around for it for awhile.

Oh and we watched Death Proof the other night. I prefer Planet Terror, it was just more fun, but really liked this one as well. Kurt Russell was great.

Slacker

interesting idea, some parts extremely funny, but the rest was completley boring.

I like For A Few Dollars More better, but I figured 'Fistful' was better to start off on. How about you?

Skinwalkers
Had some fun moments, but the direction of Jim Isaac was lacking. Many recurring slow shots occured, and they never worked t begin with. Being rated PG-13 hurt this film quite a bit as well. Given an R-rating and some blood, this might've been passable.

2.5/5

yeah i like fistful better, im one of the few. i think it builds great atmosphere. some scenes in FAFDM felt a little overly dramatic. dont get me wrong, i love all 3 though.
