Family Portraits: A Trilogy of America
Quite disturbing. The last segment especially, for me anyways. |
Once Upon A Time In Mexico- 9/10

The Black Dahlia (2006) - 4/10
Despite his impressive visual style, Brian De Palma remains a hit-or-miss filmmaker. For every "Scarface" or "The Untouchables," there's a half-dozen misfires. Unfortunately, "The Black Dahlia" belongs in the misfire category. This deliriously incoherent James Ellroy adaptation suffers from flat acting and lack of narrative focus. |
The Exorcist - Director's Cut.
The subtle indications of the demon + the spider walk scene was noteworthy, but the theatrical version was better. |
yesterday was a fearnet kind of day, watched catacombs...not bad for a free movie really liked the ending...also watched high tension, seen this before pretty fucked up movie, and finally ring around the rosie which i stooped 20 minutes in
