Surprised I've never done that back to back myself...it'd make for a damn respectable movienight. Gotta get me a copy of the cool extended aliens to go with the DC alien.

Spoiler Alert

The Host- Hated It

The ENTIRE movie is them trying to find that little girl and then she's DEAD?? WTF?.

The monster was good, the monster should stay... the rest of the movie should be erased.

I agree! That pissed me off so much. It wouldve been excellent but that ruined it

Vacancy ~ liked it better than I expected to, but more could have been done with it.

1408 ~ I love this movie, some very effective scenes, and I think Cusack really pulled it off very well. I was afraid I would be expecting too much, but I wasn't disappointed in the least.

What did you think? I absolutely ADORED Stardust... Thought that it was whimsical and very well done (and the first time that I've enjoyed Robert DeNiro in a LONG time)... I really need to get my hand on the Neil Gaimon novel... Dead Silence however... Ech. Blech.

Loved Stardust. Great modern fairytale (incredibly modern... they didn't include sex back in my heyday). Loved Ricky Gervais. It kept me awake and laughing even after 2 days of not sleeping altogether (thought the same of DeNiro and was kinda sad his role wasn't longer, but the movie is so rich in good characters, that he wasn't missed for long)....

After this however, I saw Dead Silence... and woke up just in time for the final twist. :p Didn't do much for me, the parts that I did see. Gonna have to watch it again just to be sure.

Are... You... Guys... Serious?

I thought the movie was fantastic. Honestly, the ending was a bit grim and inconsistent with the rest of the film, but at the same time it certainly reminded you that this was a monster/horror movie. I imagine that the intent was more to draw you back to the reality of the situation (where the comedic interludes might have distracted you)... I found the end very grimly droll... Wasn't sure whether or not I really found it a perfect film, but wasn't that annoyed with it.

Wicked Little Things- 6.5/10

Atmosphere was stunning, acting was acceptable, scare factor...... weak. It was one of the better 8 films IMO

Black Sheep.
If you like cheesy movies I suggest this one. It's really funny and has... weresheep. Or are they zombie sheep?

I like cheese, but this didn't grill well with me... I thought it blew.... I hoped for so much more.
