It was nice enough to look at I guess.....but some of the casting was just awful, and mostly I was just bored.

Snakes on a Plane ~ pretty much what I was expecting, but it did take itself a bit more seriously than I thought it would. And a bit more seriously than it should have.

You've been brain washed.
Hollywood has been slick and glossy with a big bang at the end for decades that this is what you expect.

You have to rewatch it when you have been in a quiet mind for awhile and not much TV and movies for about a week.
This film is very noirish, so watch an old Hitchcock black and white to get into the groove. (Cat People the original would be another one that has the same pacing.)
Trust me, it will make a difference:)

No, no I don't think so.....;) I'm glad you liked it, but the characters weren't the least bit interesting to me, and neither were the performances. And the ONLY interesting part of the film, the murder of Elizabeth Short, seemed incidental to the plot. Other films have done it much better, if I am in the mood for film noir, I will stick to The Maltese Falcon, Double Indemnity, etc....films with characters that actually do draw me in, and keep me interested.

Stir of echoes 2: the homecoming

Would have been better than the first possibly if it wasn't for Rob Lowe not being able to act. :( you let me down, sodapop... I always naturally assumed you were a good actor. Still good and definitely worth renting.
