The Host (2007)

Good, even great. The storytelling was very well done, but some of the visuals were a little well-done...anyone know what I'm saying? I could've done with a little less creature exposure, which weakened the final product immensely. Some of the CGI was too much.

Buy I really did enjoy it quite a bit.

flipping around on Showtime last night and came across "REEKER". It wasn't horrible.

28 Weeks Later 4/10 I kept hearing how this was so much better than the original.Yeah that was a lie. This movie was almost unwatchable. The only cool part was the helicopter scene.

Halloween (2007) finally *very minor spoilers for those who still haven't seen it*

Meh... it wasn't as bad as I was expecting after hearing the opinions of some on this forum. Of course there are elements I could do without (the white trash background... the whole "reunion"scene which made me roll my eyes just a bit), but it's still worth a watch.

Just finished the fifth installment in the A Nightmare on Elm Street series. I've enjoyed the fourth a great deal, and the visuals in this fifth part are just a tad worse. Still, some great effects (and some terrible ones). The highlight was Freddy's separation from the lead. Excellent.
