@Rayne: Fair enough! Sorry I doubted- I was gonna strongly recommend it to you if you hadn't seen it.

It's understandable why you'd think I hadn't seen it...It certainly isn't something that I would have chosen to watch on my own...I had to be talked into it :)

Army of darkness.

ManchestrMorgue 05-01-2008 09:30 AM

Citizen Kane .

4-3, to Citizen Kane over Army of Darkness.

Papillon Noir 05-01-2008 10:58 AM

I love Army of Darkness, but my vote's gotta be Citizen Kane. It's just in another league.

_____V_____ 05-01-2008 11:02 AM

5-3, Citizen Kane scores the win over Army of Darkness.

Arguably, THE BEST Western ever made in the history of cinema...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The greatest motion picture of all time.

Monkey see, monkey do.

Even though I'm far more apt to grab Bubba Ho-Tep off the shelf at any given time...there really isn't any contest here. Bubba has to be one of my favourite horror flicks, but Good, Bad and Ugly is about as close as possible to cinema perfection.

Zero 05-01-2008 05:18 PM

interesting story - eli wallach didn't know he was 'the ugly' until the premiere - and apparently was kind of pissed about it

The most chilling and frightful psychological-thriller remake ever made in horror...

If it was the original Cape Fear, I'd vote differently, but it's not, so Shawshank Redemption.

The Shawshank Redemption

Rayne 05-01-2008 08:59 PM

Yikes...This one's a little difficult

I love Stephen King...But, Cape Fear is more my style than Shawshank Redemption...

I have to go with Cape Fear
