The thing that sucks is it's kind of hard to find.

Watching Asenal - Chelsea while zipping the best easter beer i've ever tasted.

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...ke_423954l.jpg

Grøn Påske.

Translated to english it's "Green Easter".

The taste reminds me a whole lot of the belgium strong beer such as Leffe. Almost as good.

Too bad the company behind it went bankrupt earlier this year and this will be the last time i'll drink it. :(

Ølfabrikken makes one of the best porters I've ever had.
I didn't know they went bankrupt! I guess I should pick some of their stuff up now while I still can.

Funny you mention that....he was playing tonight in my town, at FC Dallas' MLS soccer stadium. We didn't go.....seen him before.....

newb 04-18-2009 08:35 PM

I've never seen him myself [ a little of his music goes a long way IMO] but I hear the tailgating at his shows is pretty intense........lots of booze & boobs. :D

I agree, I only like a few of his songs to be honest, but your right, the "atmoshere" at his concert is quite amazing!!! ;)

Drinking a Bell's Expedition Stout:

http://beermapping.com/images/frontpage/expedition.png

It has a lot more bite than I remember it having.
Very good, though. My favorite of Bell's brews.

The brewery is awesome (I was wearing a Bell's pin heh) and having it local means lots of stores with tons of different brews from them. :)

Jager-bombs. Still have a lot of Jager and some Red Bulls left over from a party a couple of weeks ago. I love the black licorice taste of Jager and it mixes so well with Red Bull. I wonder if Sambuca goes well with Red Bull...

Ah! You lucky dog.
Bell's is nice, but you also have Founders, which I like a lot more. I know their taproom is open quite a lot. Have you tried any of their brews?

Oh man, Goldschlager! Takes me back to my college days, sitting around in a dorm room sucking that stuff down with no mixer or ice. I once drank a bunch of that stuff when I had a cold, it really messed me up.

This is a very good beer that I had recently:

It tastes different, it's a bit sweeter... My local off license has got it for 75 p a bottle at the moment so I have been indulging myself.

Zero 05-28-2009 04:48 PM

Im a firm believer in just nuking hangovers with a shitload of painkillers. Dont piss about with the odd para here or there, throw down a few at a time and it keeps the suffering down to a minimum.

paracetemol for the pain
ibuprofen for the cause of the pain

It was a good night so well worth it!
