I think with what he was charging he might be cleaned out by now and I'm not sure I want to take the hour drive to find out he's gone.

Disney's "Ichabod & Mr. Toad"

("Sleepy Hollow," by the way, made several little nods to this film, along the lines of the bullfrogs saying "Ichabod; Ichabod..." and so on.)

Trust me I wanted to but I ran out of money. I'm going to call this guy I know that runs one of the shops there and ask him to take a look and see if he's still there, I wanna make sure before I make the hour drive.

I'm assuming you're talking about the first Land of the Lost since you stopped watching tv before the other one started.

yeah ..funny story to that ..

at my 'junk store' i found a Land of the Lost tape with a couple of episodes on it. I picked it up because there was a dinosaur looking thingy on it and my kid really likes dinosaurs (its actually an obsession)

so it turnes out the tape is the NEW Land of the Lost with Tomothy Bottoms - but i didnt know that.

Then one day i see a land of the lost DVD boxset - season 1
and pick it up because he liked the tape ... completely different !
horrible production values .. terrible acting ... but my kid REALLY liked it .. these were the origional series.

So now i have all 3 boxsets .. and hopefully they'll put out the New Land of the Lost eventually.

Dvd store here had a bin of movies, 3 for $24. Unfortunatly, they only had three that sounded like they were worth getting:

Assault on Precinct 13 [Original]
Dreamscape
DNA

Im right excited to watch "Assault", Dreamscape sounds damn good too.....and DNA sounds like a cheap Predator knockoff, but still could be decent in some way or another...

I just bought a new shins cd

- RE2 i bought the piece of shit because it was on sale used for $6. It's worth it to listen to the commentary. A commentary of a crap movie is often more interesting that the commentary of a good movie.

- National Treasure

- Ray

Fulci's Zombie

NIN: With Teeth...I haven't bought a NIN cd in a long time. I heard this one was pretty good so I picked it up.

Ray Harryhausen Classic Monsters Collection. Yippee!! I'm gonna watch "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger"! I haven't seen it in fifteen years! It's not the best Harryhausen film but I don't care. I saw it in the theatres when I was a kid, and that means it's good stuff.

(I have this obsession with animation these days, I do not know why.)

Tony Jaa does all his own stunts and fight scenes, some are very... or what you'd say..."holy shit!!" when you see them.

and as the film tag line says...."No stunt doubles, no computer images, no computer graphics, no strings attached"

Jaa's techniques and style have past what Chan could do...he's been in comparisons to Bruce Lee.
