I found the ending *mostly* satisfying, though that was cheifly becuase my character had grown so far that he was willing too sacrifice himself for something more important... something that may make everyone's life less horrible. At that stage my character wasn't able to be threatend by anything, I'd already killed all 5 behemoth mutants and could walk through washington DC in my sunday best if I felt like it... in the end Colonel whathisface was not and his army of armored nut jobs were nothing I hadn't killed a hundred times before.

Though I am interested to see how they are going to "bring me back" so to speak for the new content they are releasing.

I'm such a cheeseball, too (yes - LIKE YOU :p )... As you've said, I'm having a hard time letting the game go... What'll happen to BigTown?? Sure, I killed the SuperMutants and the Slavers... But what of their fate??

I shouldn't have gone on the Last Mission so soon; I feel as though there were a LOT of other things to explore, missions to complete, etc.

Of course, now I'm playing Dead Space, but it doesn't have the same kind of personal charm that Fallout 3 does... I'M NOT READY TO LET IT GO!

hahahahaha

Well at least your version of "Big Town" is ok... I just let them die and came back later to steal their stuff... I was a little pissed I didn't kill Red earlier becuase I couldn't break into her medical supplies!

Yes well that was before he grew his conscience... obviously.

One of the new pieces of content is apparently a raider controlled city, I am very much looking forward to that little excursion though.

And cheeseball! What me never! It's lies all liessssssssssssssss

It was a little more fun this time around, and a bit longer. Enemies were tougher and there were more of them.

Started on the Hard difficulty last night on the No Mercy campaign, and I didn't get too far. I think I got past the first chapter. Definitely much more of a challenge.

I really only play that game when I have friends on, playing a campaign with buddies on expert is awesome. Vs. mode is cool too, I love killing survivors.

Call of Duty 3(Wii)- I did enjoy the game for the most part however there are several glitches that make the game almost unplayable at certain points on a couple of the missions.

Dead Space... which... well it suffers the same faults as many video games. It manages to deliver some solid design with it's clunky industry age like high tech world, quite horrifying monster design (especially the freakish infant mutants with strange tentacles...) and I suppose a passable setting. The story is however... bad, the shiny side of the disc actually inspires more emotional resonance then any of the games characters and the feeble attempts at twists are just embarassing to endure (coming from someone who almost never sees twists coming).

The actual combat is fun and satisfying, though I don't feel like an engineer I feel more like some sort of lethal unshakable special ops agent that was undercover as an engineer... I should look like Steven Seagal and also have a part time job as a cook.

I felt it was good enough to play through and on the harder difficulties pretty tense... as you slink around praying to whatever Sci-Fi gods there are to not throw anymore zombie like creatures at you until you can scrounge up some more ammo... and then inveitably running like hell when the aforementioned Sci-Fi gods totally stiff you ... the fuckers.

Default difficulty was a slight bit to easy, you can assail hordes of creepy looking monsters without enough threat to really scare you.

Definetly passable though.

Call Of Duty: World At War (Co Op Mode)

Very fun game. Much darker than most WWII games though. Going to go back and play it solo at some point soon.

I've finished the story mode of the Jackass game. The game was much better than I thought it would be- the balance between easyness and difficulty is good. There's lots of fun minigames. I've finally found some rythym games I can be bothered with.
