Bug - 8/10
Pretty crazy film. I really liked it. Fine acting from Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon, and Harry Connick Jr.
Superb directing from William Friedkin.

D-War aka Dragon Wars.

Hummmmm...where to start? The trailer and promos promised so MUCH, and I was so excited too, after hearing that it beat The Host's box office records...and the buildup and premise was good.

What went wrong, then...you might ask?

Where D-War failed, was the execution. The story falls out after the first 10 minutes, the acting is mediocre at best (with some characters gawking stupidly as if they didnt know what to do) and the direction is a BIG let-down.

If the director thought that the CGI sequences could redeem a bad movie, he was HELLA wrong. Its mouth-watering to imagine a huge-ass serpent wrapping itself around a 100-floor skyscraper...but wtf is it doing there in the first place? Even when the CGI is absolutely gorgeous, the overall movie falls flat because of the stupid scripting and lame direction.

Even kids wont like this one. Stay clear. I give it a 04/10, and I am being generous for its CGI.

The Abominable Dr. Phibes ~ Haven't seen this since I was a kid, wonderfully creepy.

Aeon Flux ~ not great, but entertaining.

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life ~ I have to admit that I disliked some of it, but what I liked, I loved.

Unbreakable

Quite alright... and very much agreed. I never get tired of that movie.

Severance and 300 for me.
