I own it. When there's nothing good on TV, I'll go through my library of DVDs.

Fair do's-s-if I've watched something more than ten times I usually lose count-ANOES is a great film and I think it definitely is worth repeated viewings :)

Fearonsarms 08-13-2012 08:42 AM

Twice another great film is Torture Garden.

Moving onto a different genre-anyone seen Don't Torture A Duckling?

Dead&Bloated 08-15-2012 03:51 PM

Yep, Ive seen it about a half dozen times or so. I like Lucio Fulci. Don't Tourture a Duckling was one of the first movies he used violent gore effects in. How many times has everyone seen From Beyond?

If you're talking about the The Children from 1980, I've seen it a handful of times and thought it was pretty good. If you're talking about the film from 2008 of the same title only once. How about Suspiria from the master Dario Argento?

Fearonsarms 08-17-2012 07:06 AM

About four or five times. I notice with each viewing things I'd missed previously. I think I'll treasure it forever :) How about Argento's previous film Deep Red?

Dead&Bloated 08-17-2012 08:51 AM

Good movie. I've seen it four or five times. How about Phenomena? An edited version called Creepers was released, but its not as good.

I've seen a shitty cut version still called Phenomena twice and the full uncut Integral version only once so far but I treasure it and will doubtless revisit it again soon :)

Continuing the theme-Terror At The Opera/Opera? (1987)

Dead&Bloated 08-18-2012 07:09 AM

Another good one that I enjoy. I've seen it a handful of times. How about Torso, the uncut version of course, directed by Sergio Martino?

Yes I've seen it twice (the uncut version of course thankfully never seen a cut one) It's one of my fave all time Giallos-have you or anyone seen The Black Belly Of The Tarantula?

Dead&Bloated 08-21-2012 09:25 AM

Yes, I've seen it a couple times years ago. Though it was good. I love Italian films. Has anyone seen Twitch of the Death Nerve?

Fearonsarms 08-26-2012 03:27 AM

Yes that's the same film as A Bay Of Blood by Mario Bava which is what it was called here in the UK-one of my all time fave films :)Seen it about 5 times :)
How about another Bava film-Blood And Black Lace? :)

Dead&Bloated 08-30-2012 12:52 PM

Fearonsarms 09-08-2012 08:42 AM

I bet I've seen Touch Of Death 20 times. I think it was Fulci's true diamond in the rough. I love it! I read several interviews with Fulci where he said it was his favorite as well.

I agree it's very underrappreciated probably cos it was later in his career around the time of some of his weaker films, I think a lot more people would like it if it were more widely seen.

Not seen It Came From Below

How about IT the two part stephen King adaptation?

Dead&Bloated 09-24-2012 05:56 PM

I've seen IT a handful of times. The book is much better.

It's one of those "so bad they're good films" but you have to be in the mood for a pisstake.

Not seen The Dead Don't Die. But how about another TV movie from that era-
Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things?

Geddy 10-15-2012 05:07 AM

In the first case: No idea, in the second: 2.

Mermaid in a Manhole?

[Edit] No, wait - I'm sorry; how can you NOT have seen Falling Down!?!

Fearonsarms 10-23-2012 11:26 AM

Twice but I have it on dvd and think it's a blast. I love the bit where Amanda Donohoe's character spits venom at the crucifix-classy :)

How about another Ken Russell classic-The Devil's?
