20 Million Miles To Earth (1957)

Plot: IMDB
When the first manned flight to Venus returns to Earth, the rocket crash-lands in the Mediterranean near a small Italian fishing village. The locals manage to save one of the astronauts Colonel Calder, the mission commander. A young boy also recovers what turns out to be a specimen of an alien creature. Growing at a fantastic rate, it manages to escape and eventually threatens the city of Rome forcing the military to take drastic action.

Phantom's Review: One of the best of the 1950's monster movies. Great FX. action and story. A classic.

I just watched 20 Million Miles To Earth the other day.

I agree with PhantonStranger. It was one of the best.

When I saw that Kevin McCarthy, star of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers passed away at 96, I just couldn't resist watching that movie again. Another great classic,

Two great classic movies from the 50's.

I really enjoyed watching every minute of these films.

"Night Of The Living Dead"

My favorite zombie film hosted by my favorite horror hostess (and still super hot) "Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark"
A fun way to spend an evening.

"Horror Of Dracula" (1958)
-Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee

In my humble opinion, This is the greatest Dracula movie ever made. Terrific thrills, sets, costumes, acting, direction and atmosphere. A true classic.

I watched the entire Hammer Dracula marathon on TCM. Horror of Dracula, Dracula, Prince of Darkness, The Brides of Dracula aand Dracula Has Risen From the Grave.

Great memories.

Horror of Dracula has one of the greatest climaxes in horror history.

"KIng Kong vs Godzilla"

Not my favorite film in the series, but it has some decent action, but it has possibly the worst "Kong" costume ever.
