I've never seen Mad Max... So I'm going with Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher, I dont see Mad Max as much of a sci fi movie.

Mad Max is very much a science fiction film. Not all science fiction is about rocket ships, outer space and aliens. It's about the future and how society and the world have changed. Mad Max set the bar for "post apocalyptic world" cinema. A story about a world where gasoline is an ultra-rare comodity and how that affects the world and the people that live in it is every bit as much science fiction as is Alien or Star Wars.

Vote for whoever you want- but your statement that Mad Max isn't much of a science fiction film is factually inaccurate.
