You guys need to check out the uncut rod zombie halloween totally diff from the cinema version . The uncut version for example gave reasons for his killing and he let the mexican guard go . I guess the producers just wanted to make him a bad ass which i think is wrong as they humanised in the first half .

So you're saying he did have sex off-camera, with the bodies?

nicklord1 10-06-2007 04:15 AM

No but he showed more of a human side and killed more people etc for a reason.

Halloween 666 "The Producers Cut"

IMO - Part 6 is the best of the sequels with the exception of part 2.
Has anyone watched "The Producers Cut"?
Is it worth buying?

Well, i thought the whole curse of thorn thing was a bit silly, but if you look, certain moments in halloween 5 do show the symbol. Anyway, the producers cut ending gave more to the curse storyline and made it a lot more supernatural. It also made the same mistake as halloween 5 and rzh by giving michael an inch of sympathy. But it did have some good points. I wasn't keen on either of the endings but I did like the return of tommy and Loomis was given a slightly bigger role in the producers cut. I'd say buy it, but make your own conlusions.

This is actually the only version I have, so I can't really elaborate. Just keep in mind that the quality changes drastically during the movie.

Halloween (1978) Question?

 Does anybody here know the complete list of revenues and costs for the theatrical release of Halloween (1978).

I know that the total gross was about $47,000,000, and that the production budget was $325,000 - $20,000 of it going to Donald Pleasence. But does anyone happen to have access to more detailed numbers regarding distribution expenses and production fees. If so, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thanks.

I believe the Special Edition DVD I have has all the costs, fees, etc...but I'm too lazy to go watch it for that.
