don't do ratings.......

...it's a good film, had to think a lot during/after to understand it better, that might well rule it out for most people's viewing

This is another Asian horror, correct?

I haven't been having much luck on these purchased on e-bay......the first one I had to hack my DVD player and the other one [ Ab-Normal Beauty, from the Pang bros. who did The Eye ] plays ok, but I can't get the subtitles on screen....it plays on my computer ok.

from the case of my 2 disc SE :D

"following the death of their mother, sisters su-mi and su-yeon are sent to convalesce in a mental hospital. when they are released, they are greeted by their father and taken home. once there, it becomes obvious that this isn't the wholesome family unit that the girls' new step mother wishes it was.

on their first night home disturbing and seemingly unexplainable events - footsteps on the stairs, doors opening of their own accord - begin to occur, and strange hallucinations plague the family. it soon becomes impossible to tell whether it's the sisters' unstable mental health, the cruel mind games played by the step mother, or the dark presence of a supernatural force which is at work within the house"

edit: a korean film

Squirm! series, where, no kidding, a woman eats her own and others' shit... FOR REAL!

And other stuff, like insects and frogs.

Reminded me of the brief furore over "squish" films: apparently specialist pornography geared around ladies in high-heels trampling on beetles and small animals - UK Customs have seized some of these but I've never seen one.

Sick world, kids.
