Alucard the Risen 11-09-2013 02:36 AM

In that 10 film Sci-Fi pack, what's the name of the one on the bottom left? The one with the girl in red?

sfear 11-09-2013 10:52 AM

Cyberstalking

Alucard the Risen 11-09-2013 11:50 AM

Thank you, that part of it is kind of fuzzy so I wanted to be sure.

sfear 11-09-2013 05:16 PM

Yeah, I probably should have removed the plastic wrap before scanning.:o

I am probably going to get Assassin's Creed IV next month. I really love both history and this series. I have been playing the first one recently (which actually sparked my further interest into the Crusades and Islam. I even just wrote a research paper in World Religions on the Crusades). Anyway, I heard that game was good.

Alucard the Risen 11-16-2013 05:29 PM

I have enjoyed it immensely so far, the intro is pretty nice.

Alucard the Risen 11-16-2013 05:33 PM

I admittedly went on a bit of a spree the other day:

TastingIntellect 11-25-2013 06:40 PM

I recently picked up Hatchet 2 and 3, Wrong Turn 2, and Dead and Breakfast.

Alucard the Risen 11-25-2013 07:24 PM

My latest were 30 Days of Night, Billy Madison, The Crow, The Devil's Rejects, The Evil Dead, The Truck, and V For Vendetta.

The Ugly Duchess 12-09-2013 03:21 PM

My latest horror film I acquired was Zoltan, Hound Of Dracula.

Never seen it before. Stars Michael Pataki, Reggie Nalder and Jose Ferrer.

Will play it this evening.

Also got the Project UFO TV series for the two seasosn, 32 episodes in all.

Watched the first one. The picture was recorded off of WGN probably with a VHS in EP, so the picture is not as clear as if it was recorded on a DVD in SP.

The picture is adequate, but it's better than not having the series at all.

The Duchess

Yea i'm a fan. I love the flick, and had the book at some point.

Phase IV IMO is an acquired taste that will intrigue some - while probably boring many others. It's a very odd movie, and very character driven and doesn't rely on gratutious action or jump scares to deliver the goods. First seen it when I was a bit younger, and the ending stuck with me for quite awhile

Fans more geared in the direction of cerebral horror/sci-fi like I happen to be will probably appreciate flicks like this the most, and should grab a viewing at the very least. The 70's put out some of the best horror and sci-fi ever done.

MarthaLou 01-02-2014 09:49 AM

Hatchet 1 & 2

Airwolf - All three seasons

Amityville 4 - The Evil Returns

Looks like a slow burner and I'm cool with that, as long as its as visually impressive as it looks from the trailer.

more buys:
Video Violence 1 & 2
Uzumaki
Sledge Hammer

It is.

Of course I watched it at a much younger age the first time, and we all know how that alone can alter one's perspective on things so i'm not sure how i'd feel about it if I was to see it for the first time today. Hope you like it.

Warbus was pretty solid from memory. Tiger Joe should be killer too... heard good things plus it's got David Warbeck in it.

A few people I've talked to feel that way. I can definitely see why. For me they were just a captivating train wreck.

it's interesting - and i'm mildly curious to see how it wraps up - but 8 seasons - god I don't know if I can make it.

I guess I really need someone I can identify with to enjoy a movie or series to the fullest..

The characters might grow on you. I thought Jonathan Banks and Giancarlo Esposito were great in it. Season 4 was one of the best pieces of TV I've seen... great finale but yeah it is hard to get into a series if you can't stand the characters.

so far I've watched seasons 1 - 3 and just began season 4 ..

we'll soldier on for the sake of the kid :)
