I was surprised at how not funny he was, I was expecting better. Usually he's pretty good...but not in this.

just got back from seeing Hostage.......

It had some real intense scenes, I like the way they blended the different stories going on at once, there was a little horror which was totally unexpected. There was not great but entertaining action(not exactly the action I was hoping for though, I would explain but don't want to give anything away).

Overall I think it was pretty good, I give it 6/10, it would've been a 7 or maybe even 8 but I was waiting for something to happened that never did so gonna have to stick with a 6.

Enough said.;)

I was going to watch this friday night....put it in my DVD and got a region error message. hmmmm...when I bought it on e-bay it said WILL play in all US players. As luck would have it I have a Cyberhome DVD player hooked up to the kitchen TV......Its easy to change the region code on that one.

Great film! I really liked the part where the mother was in his apartment in the corner waiting for him. I also enjoyed the first few scenes of the film. They had that gritty, dirty street feel to it. Really made you feel like a crime was about to be committed.

Bummer.:(

I donīt think i would dare to buy any dvdīs on Ebay if i didnīt have a region free dvd-player.

I once ordered the dvd "Necronomicon" for around $ 20 incl. delivery. I thought that was pretty expensive, but tought "meeeh..... Iīm a horror nerd". It turned out to be a copy from a bad old videotape with chinese subtitles. I was sooo furious and sended it back instantly to get my money refunded.

Some people just donīt have any ethics...

I quite liked the ending.... the last few scenes with the girl searching the room, and you find out why his neck is giving him grief etc.

don't wana say to much and give stuff away, for those who aint seen it.

It was the neck thing i was refering to as lame... That WASN`T a scary climax. More laughable, i think..

yes it sucked....

anyway watched "The Grudge"(American) last night.....it was better than "One missed Call" but not even near Ringu.....to much ghosts in it....and it even had some bad CGI in it.....if you only paint a childrens face white it dosent necessary get scary....
