Bad News Bears (remake)
found myself laughing all through this movie. Fear No Evil ... just got this on DVD - havent seen it in years. unfortunately i was dead ass tired and fell asleep 1/2 way through so i'll have to tackle it again later. one thing that immediately stood out was that although it has great tunes in the soundtrack - they are used in a very intrusive distracing way.. |
Watched Psycho and The Running Man last night.
Who the hell came up with the Dynamo character? If he was supposed to be intimidating, he wasn't...If he was supposed to be funny, he wasn't...now if he was supposed to be out of place and annoying, then they nailed it. |

Boy eats girl.
An attempt at annother romzomcom. Didn't quite pull it off. Shithouse acting, pretty weak plot. Some good moments of gore, and the zombie makeup was pretty decent, but overall, not great. Felt like "I was a teenage shaun of the dead", only, not. Way too short as well. No huge issues, just not one I'd bother seeing again. |

Ive seen it before, and I gotta say it's still not half bad. Sure, it's got the fart jokes and moral lessons, but I'll admit it was pretty funny in parts. The penguins made the movie, massively underused though. 7.5/10 |
Thunderstruck...
australian film about 4 old friends attempting to fufill a pact they made as teens - that if any one of them died the others would bury the body along side Bon Scott .. funny at times, childlishly stupid and pathetically unorigional at others ... overall it was entertaining.. the USA had Spinal Tap Canada had Hard Core Logo, The UK had Still Crazy ... the Australians have Thunderstruck :D |

Just watched Mortal Kombat: Anihilation, it was on tv.
Just as stupid as I'd remembered. I didn't actually mind the first one...for what it was...but the second one is just TOO power ranger lookin', shitty plot, and animalities? If there was ONE THING that they shouldn't have brought out of the game onto film, that was it...and FUCK they made it look terrible too. It's funny, the short lived tv series was generally better quality than both films. Third film "devastation" supposedly out this year. |

Alien (1979) i was somewhat upset, it wasn't nearly as good as i remembered, but sigourney weaver is an amazing actress, just because the look on her terrified face when she finds ther creature on the escape pod with her at the end.
