I had Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen on but the last thing I watched on TV that I was really paying attention to was basketball. Go Pistons!

One of my friends was on it!!!! She and a couple of her friends run a dog shelter in the Northwest Territories, and they're doing a really great job. It's always cool to see friends on TV...especially if you havent seen them in almost a year.

MST3K, the episode with The Dead Talk Back.

Cheap Seats - A spelling bee (1994 I think?). It was funny because at the end of this episode the MST3K shadows showed up during the credits and made fun of the show. Them asking what kind of stupid show just has some guys making fun of other shows was great.

Insomniac Comedy Tour

I'm watching the first season of 'the Dead Zone' on DVD (which I got for my birthday). I've seen 9 of the 12 episodes, and I really dig the show!

Its a quality series. Really difficult to catch in the UK, its always shown at different times late at night.

i just watched Season One of House on DVD - never catch it on regular broadcast (since FOX is always shifting their lineup). . . its very good. . . isn't HOUSE the guy who played the Prince in BlackAdder 3?

Thats him, also in Blackadder goes Forth which is a much funnier series.

I watched the last few awards get handed out, thought I must have been dozing off when I heared Jack say Crash!

Nah, it was alright. Jon Stewart was funny, just not as funny as he could've been...George Clooney and Phillip Seymour Hoffman picked up oscars which is pretty cool.

There was no big incident.

Now that I think about it, one thing that was really irritating was that they played music over everybody's acceptance.


I like to see what the host is going to say and do, also cool to see your fav. movies and/or actors win some stuff. Plus I've hardly ever run into an oscar nominated film I don't like, so while it might not always be the absolute best(which in just opinion anyway) I still find it interesting.

it makes me feel uneasy - terrible speaches .. people acting like asses. (and the bullshit politics behind the chosing of the 'winners')

Yeah, I know, deep stuff.

Hey now, Futurama can get pretty deep. Have you seen the one where Bender meets "God"? I was surprised to see an episode that was, for the majority, fairly serious.

I agree, but remember it wasn't really God. He didn't know for sure what he was, he just knew stuff

Still, pretty deep concept for a cartoon....a cartoon on Fox no less!

Got done watching The Daily Show and am now watching The Colbert Report. These are one of the very few t.v. shows I still watch today.
