At this time I am pleased to present the award for Member With The Best Potential to someone who truly deserves it.

At first I kinda thought that the title of this award was kinda vague...If you think about it, it could mean just about anything...

Member with the best potential to WHAT?, that's what runs through MY mind...I mean, we could have been voting on the member with the best potential to become a serial killer, the member with the best potential to become the president, the member with the best potential to screw Bill Gates out of all of his money and start a wicked, kickass, horror commune for the members of HDC, the member with the best potential to piss people off, the member with the best potential to completely shut down the forum, the member with the best potential to become the next big porn star, the member with the best potential to start world war 3 and POTENTIALLY ring in the apocalypse...Now that I type these possibilities out, I can actually think of some damned good nominees at this forum for ALL of those...HaHaHa...

Oh, wait a minute...Where was I?..OH Yeah, sorry about that *said the tangent queen*

When this year's winner was revealed to me, I immediately KNEW what 'Best Potential' meant here at HDC.

This person started out as a bit of an annoyance, and he took a hell of a lot of flack for it...Did he cry?...Did he rage?...Did he insult everyone in an attempt to give back what he was getting?...Did he say, "Screw you guys, I'm goin' home?"...Did he even whine to the mods?...Most people who have endured the same kind of taunting and duress, have done one, some, or all of those things...But, not this guy...

Instead, he calmly explained that he was new and very young (younger than almost everyone here)...This information was received with a LOT of surprise, because the kid's intelligence had caused everyone to believe that he was much older, which in turn made many think that he was just being an ass when he screwed up, and deserved what was being thrown at him...This revelation helped to quell the angry mob, and prompt them to afford him the patience, leeway and assistance that he needed to get comfortable, learn, and grow with this forum...Until he slowly but surely became quite well-known, loved and respected by our members...And THAT is what potential is all about...He had it then, and he still has it now

So, with much pride, it is my honor to present the award for 2007's Member With The Best Potential to the person who, after starting out as the scraggly, awkward newcomer, has risen through the ranks to create what is probably THE most awesome thread in the history of HDC (seconded only by our Top 100's)...The creator of HDC's one and only perpetually running DAILY soap opera (which, I would like to remind everyone, takes MUCH hard work, imagination and dedication)...Our very own...
