Bourne Supremacy.
Still liked the first one a tad better, but this was a good follow up. BADASS car chase was leaving me wondering just when the cab would've taken enough damage?!? Good musical score, very well done, raw action scenes, I'll definately see the third in the series.

Elvis_Christ 01-25-2006 10:56 PM

So there making a third? Was there three books?

Yes, unpleasant as hell, but damn colorful. ;)

Not sure HOW many books there are, just that there WAS a third, called "The Bourne Ultimatum", Looks like it'll be the same production team again.

Transylvania 6-5000

dear god what a horrible movie.

Geena Davis was mind blowing sexy as hell ...
but the movie was 10 kinds of the worst smelliest shit.

ah ... i have to admit the scenes with Richards were funny ....

Right now I'm SORTA watching Friday The Thirteenth; The Final Chapter...Demon Seed is watching it in the next room, I can see it from here, but I'm paying more attention to the computer screen...AND I'm on the phone (on HOLD, of course  ) with the lab at the hospital...

Yeah, I'm a football fanatic.

I'd say I watch some kind of football movie(old or new...seen it before or not) at least 4 or 5 times a week.

Just finished Entrapment.

I'm like that with alot of movies...

Dirty Harry
Unforgiven
Rudy
Friday Night Lights
Jay and Silent Bob
Equilibrium

yada yada yada...that's just a few,the list goes on and on.

Minty 01-26-2006 11:31 AM

Once Upon A Forest 10 / 10

Leviathan

My favorite of the 1988 - 89 sea monster movies. Really likeable cast and one of the better Alien rip-offs. Nice effects by Stan Winston too.... I dug it. Another old assed VHS gem.

urgeok 01-26-2006 06:12 PM

1/2 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

(bedtime for the kid - we'll finish it tomorrow)

bwind22 01-26-2006 06:13 PM

Dead and Breakfast

Very entertaining, mid-budget pseudo zombie flick. (They aren't quite zombies.) Anyways, this film shattered my expectations and actually made for a very fun watch. The acting is just fine (Jeremy Sisto is always good and David Carradine is in there too.) The humor is just about right... Not too in your face and not like they were trying TOO hard, but just right. The gore, while low budget, was sloppy and abundant. And overall, it just had a really unique feel to it with the interjection of comical country songs in between each "chapter". If you're a zombie or low budget cheesy gore fan, don't miss this one.

B+

I have a few like that too...

Big Lebowski
South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut
Reservoir Dogs
Way of the Gun
Memento

Not neccesarily my 5 favorite movies, but those 5 I find very rewatchable.

The Evil Dead [1982]

Cant believe this is only the 2nd time Ive seen this one. I totally adore this movie....the gore, the plot, the effects, everything. An all-time classic and rightfully so.

The_Return 01-26-2006 07:49 PM

I think everyone has movies they can watch really often. Some of mine:

The Frighteners
Dracula '31
House on Haunted Hill '99
Dick Tracy
Sin City
The Abominable Dr. Phibes

The Frighteners - Highly under-rated. Great ghost story.

Dracula '31 - Classic, but not 1 I could watch all the time.

House on Haunted Hill '99 - I prefer the original, but this remake was alright.

Dick Tracy - Haha. Really? I liked it a lot when it came out, but the last time I saw it, it was WAY worse than I remembered it being. Way too colorful, the sets were tacky. It was just waaay too cartoony. I know that was the point, but I didn't like it nearly as much seeing it fifteen years later.

Sin City - Yeah, this is one for me too. Kick ass movie. And orgasm for your eyes.

The Abominable Dr. Phibes - Never seen it.

RavageRitual 01-27-2006 05:46 AM

Watched Donnie Darko w/ my gf last night.

Dracula and House on Haunted Hill are the oly movies Ive watched more than once in 1 day:p

I agree Dick Tracy is a bit overly cartoonish, but I guess thats the apeal for me.

Sin City is one of the only movies Ive watched within an hour of buying it:D

And you've never seen Dr Phibes!?!? You need to! One of the best horror movies Ive ever seen...the reviwer on the box says it best "Phun or Phear? Phibes has both!". It's gory, it's crazy, and it's Vincent Price at it's best. You can get a great double-sided DVD with it + the sequel....best $15 bucks Ive ever spent.

bwind22 01-27-2006 08:56 AM

I'll just Netflix it, but thanks for the recommendation. Vincent Price rocks, but obviously I haven't seen all his work.
