All of the big favorites have moved into the Quarter-Finals stage. The matches will become increasingly tougher to decide, and it will be a real test to decide which one is the better of the two which have been pitted against each other.

Twilight Zone...excellent movie, had no chance against Romero's walking dead...

Poltergeist...scared most people when they were kids, but couldnt scare out Raimi's masterful sequel...

The Hitcher...A popular entrant so far, but Brundlefly had the last buzz...

Gremlins...Spielberg's cute evil ones couldnt stand the might of King & Romero...

Aliens...Cameron's masterpiece sequel simply couldnt beat Carpenter's all-time classic...

Hellraiser (HDC Top 100 Ranking - 19th)...worth a mention for knocking out Freddy Krueger from the tourney, but Ash had the last laugh after all...

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (HDC Top 100 Ranking - 52nd)...caused the biggest upset of the tourney so far by knocking out Kubrick's horror masterpiece, but couldnt stand the popularity of Herbert West...

The Lost Boys...Not easy to run into some of the biggest names of 80s horror, but this teen cult classic did remarkably well till it lost out...

Quarter-Final #1 coming right up...
